Long time, no see. Well I decided that I needed a fresh take on my store, so I’ve done a complete overhaul rebuild. You should all go check it out. Red.
Red is a bold color. It’s one of the first colors we learn as a child. It’s a primary color, meaning it’s pure. Nothing can be mixed together to create red. It’s the color of blood, bravery, danger, heat, power, and in China, luck.
Luckily, red’s a color EVERY skin tone can wear. This doesn’t mean go out and buy the first stop light red thing you see. Definitely match the color red to your complexion. For paler skin, go with a bright bold pure red. Olive tones look better in wine and burgundy tones.
Try and match red with lots of neutral colors, as it is such a daring color. Even just a touch of red can really set off an outfit. Also, red heels and undies are ALWAYS in.

I went shopping at Paper Couture recently to get in on their AWESOME African collection. By doing this, I was inspired to dig around in my inventory and pick out my five favorite evening gowns, each of which I rarely get to wear anywhere except for playing dress up in my skybox.

I don’t know about you guys, but I LOVE fall… the weather, the colors, pumpkin flavored and colored stuff, Halloween, all of it. SL designers are making me love Fall even more with the Seasons Hunt (still going on now!!) and their fantastic 50L Friday offerings.
In the Seasons Hunt, I found me a jackalope. I’VE ALWAYS WANTED ONE and Izzy Bereznyak made one (FINALLY). If you haven’t been to his store, (arcade), then what the fuck are you doing still sitting there?? GO and buy up some of the nicest furniture on the grid. I also found Trace Osterham’s very pretty and simple Auldearn scarf. If you find the leaf at his store, {theosophy}, you get 2 scarves in Oak and Copper and each come with chest or spine attachment options. OMGWTF Barbeque, creator of This is a Fawn and 50L Fridays made some fantastic leggings for the Seasons Hunt and for October 1st’s FLF . I’m wearing the pumpkin, but her Seasons offering includes 3 great fall colors, all for free. Just find the leaf! Dot Chaffe, of <skin&bones>, made this pose. You know, there’s been some fairly cunty comments made about Dot’s placement of her leaf. If you use Phoenix, just do an area find. It’s really easy to find these hunt items if you know what you’re looking for. Don’t be a cunt to these designers that give you FREE THINGS. IT’S FREE FOR FUCK’S SAKE. Anyway. That’s where this pose is from and frankly, it’s cute. And this is basically how I stand in line at the Chinese buffet waiting on them to refill the General Tso’s. Just saying. MOVING ON.
This week’s FLF (October 1), also brought us Olive Juice’s REALLY adorable fall stool. IsabellaGrace Baroque (Bella to her pals), is the creator of Olive Juice poses. She really does make some of my favorite poses in SL. I know I’m not very good about crediting pose makers (SORRY GUYS, I’M LAZY), but many of the poses you see in my posts are made by her. Also, she’s a pretty sweet gal. The stool comes in 2 options… 7 prims, for you folks living in small quarters, and an 11 prim version for you sim owners. Each have 6 animations and all are to die for… see? I’m sitting on the stool right now. Ain’t it cute?
Lamb Bellic, the namesake and creator of !lamb, is totally one of my favorites as far as hair goes. She did a remix of her Sugar Hiccup hair for her FLF item. I’m wearing it in Twix, and I LOVE IT. I’m hoping it’ll be for sale with more colors soon, but you know…. We’ll see.
One skin that I’ve REALLY been getting into lately is Rhapzody Wilde’s line, Mynerva. Not only are her skins absolutely radiant, but she’s really sweet and very willing to help her customers out. That’s one thing that is so important to me as a consumer and creator… Having a healthy relationship between creator and customer. If you’re kind to the creator, they will in turn be kind to you. Likewise, if you’re good to your clientèle, they’ll keep coming and bringing their minions with them.
Of course, I’ve kinda got to toot my own horn. As many of you know, I own the store kent and I’ve just made my first eyes and I’m wearing them above in Tempest. They’re 75L each and you should go buy them all. Really. You should.
Girls love shoes. I’m a girl. I love me some shoes. These here shoes are oldies but goodies. They’re from Surf Couture, made by creator Emma Gilmour, and yes they came out a while back but GOD I LOVE THESE BOOTS. Anyway, that’s it for now. Leaving the stylecard at the bottom for yen’s.
